Olivier Elemento, PH.D.

Dr. Elemento is a distinguished researcher developing new methodologies for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer by combining ultrafast DNA sequencing, proteomics, high-performance computing, mathematical modeling, and artificial intelligence/machine learning. His lab at Weill Cornell Medical College includes examination of how genes are regulated in cancer cells, determination of whether 3D chromatin architecture can predict where mutations are most likely to occur, and investigation of mutated genes and their mediation of genome-wide, epigenomic patterns.
