Luc Dochez

Luc is a Managing Partner at DROIA Ventures, a VC firm focused on genetic diseases and oncology.  He brings over 20 years of experience in the life-science industry across a broad range of therapeutic areas.  In addition to Volastra,  he currently serves as DROIA’s representative on boards including Montis Biosciences (Chairman), Vaderis,  and Vico Therapeutics (Chairman and Co-Founder).  Prior to joining DROIA, Luc served as a biotech executive at several companies including Tusk Therapeutics (where he was the CEO  from May 2015 until its acquisition by Roche in September 2018), Prosensa Holding N.V. (where he served as Chief Business Officer until its acquisition by BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc.).  Luc holds a Pharm.D. degree and a postgraduate degree in business economics from the University of Leuven (Belgium) and an MBA from Vlerick Management School (Belgium).
