Celia Andreu Agullo, Ph.D.

Celia joined Volastra Therapeutics in 2022 and currently leads the pre-clinical development, translational science and biomarkers portfolio. Prior to Volastra, Celia was Principal Scientist at Inspirna Inc., and responsible of the pre-clinical IND-enabling pharmacology, toxicology and efficacy studies of cancer immunotherapy and cancer metabolism programs. She also led and advanced Inspirna’s miRNA-based target discovery platform in solid tumors.

Celia completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Cancer Biology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where she was EMBO Long Term Fellow. She received her Ph.D. in Neurobiology and her undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from University of Valencia (Spain).
