Prior to joining Volastra, Suzie worked in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) at Corbus Pharmaceuticals, Inc in discovery and early development of small molecule projects and mAbs in immuno-oncology.  Before Corbus, Suzie established and grew the DMPK group for Charles River Laboratories (South San Francisco) focused on in vivo PK and Bioanalysis. Preceding Charles River, Suzie served as a senior investigator on various disease area projects and as in vivo PK head at Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research (DMPK). Prior to Novartis, Suzie was at Pfizer Global R&D in the Pharmacokinetics Dynamics and Metabolism group.

Suzie completed an industrial postdoctoral at Novartis preceded by an academic postdoc at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her Ph.D. from Kent State University and a B.Sc and M.Sc from The University of Bombay.
