Bernardo Tavora, Ph.D.
Bernardo is a biomedical scientist with extensive experience in pre-clinical models of cancer biology to study tumor growth and metastasis. For his postdoctoral work at the Rockefeller University, Bernardo used an innovative in vivo system to identify genes required for metastatic progression. He received his Ph.D. from the University of London, where he generated multiple new mouse models to study the role of Focal Adhesion Kinase in tumor angiogenesis and resistance to therapies.
